Westree Townhomes in Plantation Midtown

Located in the heart of Plantation, Florida, Westree townhomes are ideal for someone wanting to live in a walkable neighborhood that’s convenient to many employers, shops and restaurants. The townhouses at Westree were built between 1988 and 1990 and community amenities include a pool with an adjacent covered sitting area.
Westree townhomes offer either 2- or 3-bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms (all bedrooms are on the second floor) and the floorplans are spacious… 1,224 and 1,350 total sq. ft., respectively. Inside, you’ll find an eat-in-kitchen with a pass-thru snack bar, a storage closet under the stairs and a laundry closet. Outside, there is a covered entryway as well as a roofed, screened patio (with an additional storage closet) facing the rear of the property. The 3-bedroom townhomes are corner/end units with extra windows on the side, allowing for more natural light inside. Some buildings are waterfront and a few overlook the community pool. Roofs in all buildings were replaced in 2006.
There are two entrances into Westree and both are on American Express Pkwy. just south of Cleary Boulevard. As a pet-friendly community, residents are allowed large dogs. Westree townhomes is governed by a homeowners association (HOA) and the maintenance fee includes building insurance, common areas, building exterior, roof and reserves.
Westree is located directly across from the Lakeside Office Center (home to Merrill Lynch, the University of Phoenix and others) and just down the street from the American Express regional headquarters. Residents have also recently experienced a revitalization of the area due to the new streetscapes and the upscale Veranda condos that were just completed along with a new shopping center that includes a Publix supermarket, Dunkin Donuts, Pei Wei Asian Diner, a bank and more.
One of the benefits of living in Westree is the ability to take advantage of the Plantation Midtown trolley which is a free air-conditioned transportation service. The trolley makes it even easier to reach midtown area malls, the Westside Regional Medical Center, and Plantation’s new West Regional Library, to name just a few places.
